Donation

Aside from the grants received for individual projects, the work of the Mendelssohn-Gesellschaft is financed exclusively through donations. While admission to the permanent exhibition at the Mendelssohn Remise is free, your voluntary donations are more than welcome. The Mendelssohn-Gesellschaft depends on such gifts to cover:

• The yearly rent for the Remise, which costs more than € 50,000;
• Operating expenses, repairs, and maintenance, as well as the development and expansion of the permanent exhibition;
• Advertisement costs and event-related expenses, insofar as they are not covered by entrance fees.

We will be happy to provide you with a receipt for your charitable donation. Mendelssohn-Gesellschaft has been officially recognized as a non-profit organization by the Tax and Revenue Authority.

MATCHING GRANT

Anlässlich des 20sten Geburtages der Mendelssohn-Remise haben Mitglieder der Mendelssohn-Familie erneut eine Matching-Grant-Aktion für 2026 ausgerufen. Zur Verfügung stehen insgesamt 20.000 €. Jeder Euro, der uns als Spende im Rahmen dieser Aktion als Spendenbetrag zugeht wird von den Matching-Grant-Gebern verdoppelt.

Bis heute 20.3.2026 sind bereits 6.750 € bei uns eingegangen!

Diese Spenden dienen speziell der Finanzierung der laufenden Miete für die Remise, die leider nicht bei Projektförderungen zum Ansatz gebracht werden kann. Eine dauerhafte institutionelle Förderung konnte noch nicht eingeworben werden.

Wir danken allen Mitgliedern der Mendelssohn-Gesellschaft und allen Freunden der Mendelssohn-Remise, die uns helfen, diese neue Förderchance in vollem Umfang zu nutzen. Wir sind auf Ihre Unterstützung angewiesen und bitten Sie, auf das Vereinskonto der Mendelssohn-Gesellschaft (siehe unten) unter dem Stichwort „Remise“ bzw. "Matching Grant" zu spenden. Jeder, ein kleiner ebenso wie ein großer Betrag hilft.
